Local 579 represents Wisconsin State Employees at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, University of Wisconsin Fond du Lac, University of Wisconsin Fox Valley, and State Agencies in Fond du Lac, Outagamie and Winnebago Counties.
 
The local union meeting will be now held on the third Thursday of every month (no meetings in August or December) at 5:00 p.m.  All members and fair share payers are welcome to attend.  The meetings are held at the Gruenhagen Conference Center, UW Oshkosh. The meeting room is located, now on the first floor in the Terrace Room, from the front desk go left and around the corner. Parking will be available in Lot 10 or the Parking Ramp on levels 1 and 2.  Parking permits are not necssary to park during the meeting.  The best way to ensure that the union represents your views is to become a member and participate in meetings.  That is where decisions are made. Next meeting is October 20th, 2011 at 5pm!

All AFSCME Local 579 Represented Employees are encouraged to register. To gain maximum access to the Website and Forum you must be a Member in good standing of AFSCME Local 579. The level of access for other represented employees will be dependent on whether you pay union dues or not.
